Purpose: Our purpose is to foster closer Christian based friendships among the Men of Grace Lutheran Church to enable men to experience God's mercy, forgiveness, spiritual renewal, and leadership, so that we may better walk in his ways, and delight in his will.
Approach: Our approach is to organize activities in three main areas:
Spiritually Focused Gatherings: These include bi-monthly bible studies on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at church.
Service Projects: We meet at church one Saturday per month , 8:30-10:30 AM, for “Chow and Chores”. This involves a simple breakfast and maintenance projects around the church. We also have bi-annual service projects forother churches, camps and the community. These include such activities as 1. Developing a large vegetable garden at Camp Koinonia. 2. Constructing an outdoor Ice Rink at Camp Koinonia. 3. Painting the trim at St John's Lutheran Church on Long Island.
Fellowship Gatherings: These include Movie nights at the church, field trips to NYC, attendance at baseball games, hiking, skiing, and bowling,
